School Year and Summer Programs
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Huntsville Learning Center provides children grades K – 9th with a highly structured, disciplined program from 2:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Mondays – Thursdays. Through consistent mentoring and tutoring we grow our students in these areas:
Academics
Fitness/ Enrichment (Dance, Art, Music, Mindfulness)
Biblical Knowledge
Gardening
The daily goal of the Center is to provide children with a safe environment that is enriching and conducive to learning. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring that students leave the center well-fed, prepared for the next day's classes, filled with a sense of accomplishment, and better equipped to deal with life's obstacles.
The Children arrive between 2:45 and 3:30 p.m.

Summer is a bit different at the Learning Center…
Dive in summer reading camp
We offer a Summer Reading Program for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade to strengthen reading and social skills. The camp consists of large group teaching time, small group skill training, reading time, Bible lessons, lunch and enrichment activities including math, music, art and field trips!

Christian summer camp
We offer a Summer Camp for 3rd through 5th grade where campers are introduced to Jesus Christ. We strive to model His love through meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our last summer activity is a beach trip where some of the kids see the ocean for the very first time!

GRowth camp
We offer a Summer Program for 6th through 9th grade students. Growth camp is a place where kids can grow organically over the summer. We are all things green and we feed kids in many ways: spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and academically.
