Last week I lost my friend, Art Leslie. Maybe he was your friend, too.

Hello Everyone,
Even if you didn't know Art Leslie, I think you should know his story. It will bless your day.

Art grew up in an abusive home in an inner city housing project. He felt alone and hamstrung by life, as if he had no way out.

What I Learned from Art Leslie (and what you can learn, too)

Here are some extra details:
Art founded the Huntsville Inner City Learning Center to help at-risk kids (who were just like him). And Iā€™m so thankful he did. The Center has now served hundreds of children and their families.

Art knew impoverished kids lacked opportunity, so he worked hard to provide the Learning Center children with opportunities to learn. He took them to museums:

And to see the ocean for the very first time:

He arranged for the children to learn about gardening and eating healthy fruits and vegetables. . .

and provided lessons in sports, art and dance:

But most importantly, Art taught the kids about the Lord every day:

Now, he's gone. But the impact of what he did will live on.
Thank you, Art. Your life touched so many lives. You are greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Love never fails."

Have a blessed week,
