WHO WE ARE

The Huntsville Learning Center is a volunteer-based, Christ-centered organization that partners with schools, families, and our community to help students with limited opportunities become spiritually aware, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens. We aim for each student to become a high school graduate through programs focusing on Biblical knowledge, mentorship, and academic support.

A Few Minutes To See & Hear How Lives Are Being Changed…

The Huntsville Learning Center provides children Kindergarten – 9th grade with a highly structured, disciplined after school program from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the school year. We also have two Summer Camp programs in June and July each year. Our aim in all that we do is to provide children with a safe environment for them to learn who God is and who they are in Him. Our volunteers are more than tutors, meal makers or enrichment guides. Our volunteers model the love of Jesus and His faithfulness by building relationships with our students. We are called to love the Lord and to love one another; therefore, we believe that a relationship with Jesus and with one another is foundational in all that we do and say.

Get INVOLVED

We rely on volunteers called to serve in our community. We need tutors for homework help, mentors for our fitness and gardening programs, and groups willing to provide regular meals. Click the links below to learn more, or please contact us at connect@hsvlc.org or 256-536-4400.
